Benfam
The Brazilian Society for Family Welfare (BEMFAM), IPPF/WHR’s affiliate in Brazil, contracts with municipalities to provide technical support to their sexual and reproductive health service provision activities. The majority of BEMFAM’s more than 1,100 contracts are for technical assistance, training, educational and communication materials, and information systems. These contracts now account for 43 percent of BEMFAM’s income.
